The fish was delicious. Fast service only a 45 minute wait. Chips were tasty and the fruity curry sauce was nice but a bit to spicy for me. I didn't need a large fish as the small cod was ample.

Just popped over to Barry to try Fat Boys Fish & Chips, have to say we were really impressed. Quality and quantity, big portions with good quality produce. Irish curry is banging, chips cooked perfectly, fish top notch and the Fat Boy XL Burger was a beast. Highly recommend, five stars from us ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had: Fish bites Large chips Chicken burger Fat Boys XL Burger Irish Curry All for £21 All these people moaning about price, have you not seen what is going on in our country, do you not know how expensive it is to run a business in this day and age. Utility bills are up massively, rent increases, produce prices going through the roof. How about support local and stop moaning, if you want cheap quality food at cheap prices pop over to McDonalds.

Best fish and chips by far!! Curry sauce is amazing and portions are great. I do have to say though, even better than the food is the attitude and customer service provided by the owner and staff.. So polite, so helpful and can't do enough! Shame we can't eat Fish and Chips every night... Or maybe we can ;)

I have been getting my take aways from Fat Boys for a long time now and had an amazing dinner as always. Ordered directly by phone and got my delivery really quick and still HOT. The staff are friendly as always. The chicken curry on my chips was something new I tried. It was very authentic and would definitely recommend. The fish is always fresh and the chips are the best in Barry. Cannot wait for my next order!

Lovely food, the fish was cooked fresh and was delicious. The homemade tartar sauce is to die for! Will definitely be ordering again. Haven’t had decent fish and chips for a while so glad I’ve found this place!

Without a doubt one of the best chippies in Barry and the surrounding area. Price wise, it's standard fare. The portion sizes you get are generous however. £8 sees you flush with crispy chips and a gigantic, double-stacked burger with toppings of your choice. It's easily as filling as two meals. The quality of the food is superb as well, with the only downside being a longer wait than your average fish & chip shop. Well worth waiting the extra few minutes though.

First time we've ordered from Fat Boys and it was lovely. The fish was beautiful, the best I've tasted from any chippy so we will definatly be ordering from here again. The meal was hot when it arrived and the delivery driver was polite. We all enjoyed our different meals from the menu and as my husband said "it went down a treat". so thank you.

Without doubt the best take away burger I have ever had. Double bacon burger, onion rings cooked to perfection. An absolute beauty!! Kids meals were generous and tasty. Chicken curry was great. Great value. Thanks fat boys !!
